We were VERY frustrated using lithiums because of the heat they generate in heavy use and the huge cost of being nonrechargeable. After thoroughly testing the top brands of NiMH LSDs, AccuEvolution is the ONLY A+ and clearly the best of the best...they come charged, stay charged, have LOTS of storage capacity, stay cool during heavy use (and fast recharging), and are so consistent. Usually more expensive than other brands, but Bearwobble consistently has outstanding prices and service.

These batteries are outstanding. They outlast Eneloops and low discharge Duracells by a very noticeable margin. They are constructed very well and have many charge cycles without any noticeable degradation in performance. The Duracells I purchased have noticeably degraded after fewer charge cycles and one of the cells doesn't hold a charge at all. Duracell and Sanyo do not produce low discharge C cells, D cells or transistor batteries at all either. One cannot go wrong with AccuPower. |

I've been using various brands of NiMH in quantity since they first came out. Until recently, I've been a loyal user of Sanyo Eneloops. Looking for something less pricy, I tried some AccuEvolution AAs - and they are absolutely the BEST! Besides an extra 100 mAh of capacity, these batteries run cooler under stress and need less recharging. BTW - if you're looking for a bargain DO NOT waste your money on Rayovac or Tenergy! |
